The Data Systems Engineer will follow standards set by the industry and the K20 Center to implement projects that will be used by K20 Center staff and grant participants. These projects may assist grant staff in creation of learning materials, grant activity planning, data collection and reporting. These projects may also allow grant participants to access learning materials and complete electronic assessments. These projects include websites, tool sets used to implement these websites, server and database systems to support the websites, and any other educational software as it is needed by the K20 Center. This incumbent's job tasks will include: Talent Management Project Coordination Data Management Server Management Website Development Code Review Source Control Communication Technical Documentation Job Requirements Required Education: 18-36 months of experience as a programmer Skills Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives Knowledge of web and server technologies Knowledge of front end and back end languages Must be able to perform basic data analysis Certifications None Advertised Physical Requirements: Must be able to engage in repetitive motion and communicate effectively.
