POSITION PURPOSE

Work directly with customers and users of our hardware and software, and be able to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Support:
    • Oversee the day to day support of hardware and software user issues.
    • Answer inbound technical support calls and emails
    • Act as the customer's initial point of contact for technical issues.
    • Troubleshooting of LAN/WAN connectivity issues
    • Aids in the support of the Time and Attendance Application.
    • Provide accurate and timely logging of problems.
    • Escalate issues to senior analysts as appropriate.
  • Documentation:
    • Documents specific duties, activities, problems solved and issues resolved
    • Assists in the documentation of the network as it relates to Time and Attendance.
    • Provides and updates training documentation.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Attends meetings and serves on committees, as requested
    • Regular attendance as required
    • Performs additional duties and assignments as requested


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • High School graduate required.
  • Bachelor Degree Required

Experience Required:

  • 0 1 years of network administration..

Knowledge of:

  • Computer, network operations and maintenance
  • LAN/WANs
  • Microsoft Operating Systems

Skills and Abilities:

  • Evaluate critical systems, prioritize workflow and determine solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpret and apply laws, regulations and policies
  • Provide technical assistance for computer problems
  • Read and understand technical manuals
  • Work for extended time at keyboard/terminal
  • Maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and coworkers
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
